How long will the recovery process take?

Most recoveries we carry out here take between 3 and 5 days to complete from diagnostics to sending your recovered data back out to you. The time it takes to recover your data is mainly down to the following variables:

The size of the data being recovered

The current condition of the drive

The time it takes to diagnose the problem with drive

The time it takes us to get the go ahead after we have done the initial diagnostics

The age of the damaged media

The type of the damaged media, SCSI / SATA / IDE / NAS

Express Service Available

If your data recovery requirements are of a more urgent nature we offer an express service where work will start on your drive within 30 minutes of us receiving it and in most cases is sent back out to you within 24 hours.
